The bill (Reg. No. 4679) specifies
the terms of realization of the right of land owners and land users to produce
fresh ground water for economic and household needs without special
permits.
It presents the following version of Part 1 of Clause 23 (The Right of the Land Owners and Land Users to extract District Minerals and Peat, produce Fresh Ground Water and use Natural Resources with other Purposes): "Within the borders of respective land plots, land owners and land users are authorized to extract district minerals and peat with the mining depth not exceeding two meters for the economic and household needs without special permits and mining license, produce ground water for the household needs, centralized and de-centralized household water supply (except for production of bottled drinking water), provided the productivity of ground water supply intake does not exceed 300 cu.m. a day."
Within six months after the enactment of the normative-legal act, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine shall develop and ratify the order of state registration of artesian wells, supply the meters of the ground water intake, and guarantee governmental control over the observance of this Law.
